Stainless Sales
Stainless Sales received more than $8,000 from NORBIC's Employer Training Incentive Program (ETIP) to conduct slitter training and QS 9000 training, a quality system standard that focuses on helping automotive suppliers insure that they are meeting/exceeding automotive customer requirements. As a result of the ETIP reimbursement, Stainless Sales better understands how to look at their business from a customer perspective and focus on quality. The money they saved on training enabled them to invest in additional process improvements and the purchase of new equipment. In addition, NORBIC's assistance with international trade has helped them become more cost competitive and bring in new accounts. With NORBIC's help, Stainless Sales has increased their sales by 40% over the past year and will be hiring 6 new employees in 2005.
