Industrial Development Assistance Manufacturers within the City of Chicago can take advantage of special City programs and services to help them remain competitive. NORBIC conducts site visits to assess the needs of manufacturers and advises them on government incentive programs, capital equipment financing, technology, infrastructure, property tax and land use issues. NORBIC is an officially designated Local Industrial Retention Initiative and its industrial development services are offered in partnership with the City of Chicago Department of Planning & Development.
