NORBIC works with entrepreneurs and existing businesses to help them develop and expand their businesses and improve their bottom line. Assistance is provided in the areas of business planning, debt and equity financing, industrial retention, expansion and relocation, workforce development planning and business and financial management. NORBIC also assists companies in accessing a broad range of grant and incentive programs. Our Funders NORBIC's free and low cost business assistance programs are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, the U.S. Department of Defense, the City of Chicago, and matching funds from corporate and foundation partners.
